More than 350 cyclists registered for the 5th annual Tour de Cure cycling event held April 6. Cyclists took part in one of three rides: a 62-mile; a 42-mile; or a 22-mile ride.
The Tour de Cure event is held to raise awareness about diabetes and to help find a cure. The 56 cylists participating in the 22-mile ride took off at about 8:45 a.m. from Navarre Park. Their route took them along the beach highway ending at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze.
