Six of the 18 Santa Rosa County schools recognized for high performance are located in the south end of the county.
Florida Gov. Rick Scott announced Feb. 25 that more than $134 million went to Florida schools as part of the School Recognition Program.
Holley-Navarre Intermediate, Holley-Navarre Middle, Holley-Navarre Primary, West Navarre Primary, West Navarre Intermediate and Woodlawn Beach Middle schools received part of the $2.4 million awarded to Santa Rosa County for sustained high student performance.
