Cold Weather Shelters Open

Two cold weather shelters for the homeless or heatless will open Thursday, Feb. 28 and Friday, March 1 in Santa Rosa County
Community of Christ Church located at 2111 Presidio Street in Navarre, and Ferris Hill Baptist Church located at 6848 Chaffin Street in Milton will be open due to cold weather conditions.
Those who would like to stay at the shelter must arrive between 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. No one will be admitted after 8:30 p.m. unless brought in by law enforcement. The shelters will close at 7 a.m. each morning.
