“Pekin Express” – a French reality-adventure-game show similar to “The Amazing Race” – sends contestants to exotic faraway places.

Eight couples and a production crew made their way through Santa Rosa County recently recording footage for a the 10th episode of the show’s 9th season, a race around the Gulf of Mexico. Contestants started the race in Havana, Cuba, and then made their way to Mexico City; Houston, Tex.; and Lafayette, La., before finally making their way to Milton earlier this month.
