Kameron Thompson, 12, of Navarre knows who she is and who she isn’t.
She isn’t one of those spoiled children donning fake hair, breasts, butts, teeth, too much makeup, and throwing temper tantrums when they don’t win the pageant.
“We do not do glitz,” said Vicki, Kameron’s mom. In the world of pageantry there are natural pageants and there are glitz pageants. Glitz pageants focus on outward beauty; whereas, natural pageants focus on community service. Service to others is why Kameron chose to get involved in natural pageants two years ago.
