County to settle Hendrix lawsuit

Santa Rosa County Commissioners plan to settle a lawsuit filed by former library director Linda Hendrix for $80,000.
In a memo to commissioners, County Attorney Angie Jones said Hendrix’s employment contract was terminated “after it became apparent that her relationships with the community, subordinates, commissioners and others were damaged to the point that she could no longer remain as library director.”
