Officials from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) are gearing up to hold three public hearings across the panhandle, on the department’s tentative five year work program.
The hearings will be held throughout the district to present and receive input on the work program for fiscal years July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2018 and consider the necessity of making changes to the program.
The closest meeting will be held from 10-11 a.m. Nov. 29 in the FDOT Milton Operations Conference Room, 6025 Old Bagdad Highway, Milton. Personnel will discuss and receive input on projects in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties.
For those who cannot attend the meeting in Milton, the proceedings can be viewed via video conference at the Milton Operations Center. These Public Hearings are being conducted pursuant to Section 339.135(4) (c), Florida Statutes.
