That feeling – an indescribable one – the ragtop down, the suns rays warming the face and soul, the turning heads and smiles of nostalgia that send the message of remembrance. The smell of the air, the wind tousling one’s hair, the pride that comes from knowing the engine purrs because of the time and patience spent restoring that classic 1969 Mercury Cougar.
Andrew McCooey, 15, of Navarre knows that feeling of pride when he sits in his restored Cougar. He isn’t old enough to experience the nostalgia yet, but he will… one day.
