Gulf Breeze City Council approved a purchase contract for Tiger Point Golf Club during a special-called meeting this morning.
The listing price of the 365 acres is about $2.7 million. City Attorney Matt Dannheisser told council that the closing costs would include an additional $69,000. The purchase is contingent on Santa Rosa County approving a conditional use zoning variance to allow South Santa Rosa Utilities System to expand the wastewater treatment facility in the Tiger Point area.
The county Zoning Board discussed the variance request during a Nov. 8 meeting but commissioners will make the final decision.
