TDC to receive tourism grant

Deepwater Horizon Claims Administrator Patrick A. Juneau has announced 110 nonprofit organizations and government entities in the Gulf Coast region will receive more than $43 million in the first round of grants from the Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund.

The Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council was listed as a recipient of a grant. TDC Executive Director Kate Wilkes said she has not been informed about the amount of the grant. Florida as a whole received more than $13 million in grant funding.
