Tax collector returns unspent revenue

Santa Rosa County Tax Collector Stan Colie Nichols told commissioners today that he was returning $545,600 in unspent revenue collected during the fiscal year 2011-12 to the county. 

 “I am extremely proud of our staff and management team for providing excellent customer service while maintaining the efficiencies necessary in order to return over a half million dollars back to the taxing authorities which enables them to provide much needed services to the public,” Nichols said in a press release.
