HNFD budget allows for more firefighters

The Holley-Navarre Fire District’s Board of Fire Commissioners approved the $1.98 million 2012-13 fiscal-year budget on Sept. 24 during its regular meeting and allotted money to hire two part-time firefighters.

Commissioners held a workshop to begin the budget process on Aug. 16, which allowed more than a month for commissioners to review the budget and make proposed changes.
