When Catherine Mann’s high-school-aged son, Robbie, went looking for a church service project, he found his family’s calling.
And the six-member Mann family hasn’t been the same since.
“Our lives are changed,” said Catherine, “and it’s been amazing.”
The Mann family – which has two dogs and one cat of its own, animals they call “forever pets” – started fostering pets from the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society, or PAWS, just a few years ago. Since then, she estimated that they’ve seen dozens of needy animals come through their doors.
