Three mile bridge replacement moved up

The Pensacola Bay Bridge isn’t falling down – not yet – but planners want to be ready before it does.

 

“There’s really not a major fix we can do to prolong (the bridge’s) useful life,” Jim DeVries of the Florida Department of Transportation said Aug. 11 in Milton. “We will be moving forward with planning and development (for a bridge replacement project).”
