The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is set to continue its Thursday in the Park concert series with a special July 4th event on the eastern part of the parking lot behind Cocodrie’s — the same general area where Fun Fest was staged.
At the May 27 meeting of the Santa Rosa County commissioners, newly installed chamber president/CEO Bill Arnett asked permission to stage the event from 6-9 p.m., with the backdrop of fireworks, which will be launched off the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier. The fireworks are sponsored by the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council.
