Let there be light

After living in Harvest Village for 10 years, Cheri Hofmann finally grew tired of lightless nights.

Cheri Hofmann is hoping to get signatures permitting a MSBU in Harvest Village, which will pay for the installation and maintenance of several street lights.

In a subdivision of more than 60 homes, only one street light functioned properly.

"We had several that used to work before Hurricane Ivan," Hofmann said.

Once the storm blew out the street lights, Hofmann called Gulf Power to have them turned back on.
