With more than four decades of work experience, Diane Bicker never thought she'd have trouble finding a job - not even in a tumultuous economy.
Her resume was put to the test four years ago, when a hurricane took out a kite shop on Pensacola Beach that she and her husband owned.
"We lost our business and that's tourism related," Bicker said. "And I went out and looked for a job, but there was nothing."
Even when computing her years of medical field experience, Bicker still couldn't find a job.
