Navarre man arrested after pursuit

Dominic Turner of Navarre was arrested after a pursuit left one Santa Rosa County deputy injured after Turner attempted to run him over with his vehicle.

Turner, 36, has been charged with attempted felony murder on a law enforcement officer for his deliberate attempt to injure him.

Turner fled the scene after deputies responded about 9 p.m. on Jan. 24 to a domestic call dispute located in the 8100 block of Cosica Boulevard in Navarre. Turner was sitting in his vehicle in the driveway when the deputies responded. When they instructed him to exit the vehicle, Turner fled the scene.
