Obama reverses FEMA decision

President Barack Obama reversed an earlier decision denying Gov. Rick Scott’s request for supplemental federal assistance due to Hurricane Isaac.

Scott made the initial request Sept 10. In his request letter he documented the damage to seven counties and wrote that the state met the federal threshold.
