Maximo Amores, 35, the driver of the Lexus that killed two Santa Rosa County residents on July 14 in Gadsden County, Fla., was in the state illegally, according to the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Amores was on parole in Jackson County, Miss., for burglary and his parole was not set to expire until October 2015.
