Septic and water concerns prompt public meeting

Concerns about proposed regulations affecting septic tanks and water quality will be aired at a public meeting planned for Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Holley-Navarre Water Systems boardroom. The meeting, sponsored by the Navarre Patriots, will feature Richard F. Griswold, PE, general manager with Destin Water Users, Inc., and president of the Northwest Florida Utility Managers Council. Ken Walker, general manager of the Holley-Navarre Water Systems, will also be on hand to provide information on possible costs for residents in regards to the proposed regulations, which are part of Florida Senate Bill 550.
