Time is of the essence for Lifeguard Ambulance

When Lifeguard Ambulance   Service of Florida won the bid to provide ambulance service to Santa Rosa County in 2007, many thought the terms of its performance contract with the county could not be upheld.

“We were talking about shaving off two minutes [from the response time] in rural areas,” said Jason Kimbrell, operations manager for Lifeguard, in a presentation to the Santa Rosa County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 11, when he presented Lifeguard’s year-end operations review assessment for the county.
