Escambia and Santa Rosa county commissioners will meet Monday in Milton to discuss the first step to transferring ownership of leased beach property: federal approval.
"We've got to start looking at our options," Escambia County Commission Chairman Grover Robinson IV said Tuesday. "At this point, we've got to ask Congress if they'd be willing to look at (allowing Escambia County to transfer titles to Santa Rosa Island properties.)"
