The Miami Heat basketball team arrived at Hurlburt Field on Tuesday, for what was supposed to be a top-secret pre-season training session.
The team started practice early Tuesday morning at Hurlburt’s Aderholt Fitness Center, a 28,000 square-foot gym, located at the heart of the Special Operations base.
A spokesperson for the team said players would also be visiting with airmen at Hurlburt, and nearby Eglin Air Force Base, which head coach Erik Spoelstra said was a “unique opportunity”.
