Verna Joyce wants some answers.
As the Post Commander of the American Legion, Joyce said she is heartbroken after a weekend robbery left the organization with no cash – and virtually no leads.
The facility was broken into Saturday.
“It wasn’t just damage to the building – it was damage to our hearts,” said Joyce. “We’re angry and we want some answers.”
It’s the second time in just 12 months that someone has broken into the Navarre American Legion.
Last fall, thieves made off with the club’s safe and left the building in disarray after rummaging through drawers and cabinets.
