Local candidates vary little on issues at forum

Incumbents seeking re-election to Santa Rosa County commission and school board seats spent much of last week’s Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce candidates’ forum defending their records during a time of unprecedented economic challenge.

“Right now, we’re in a better position because of the actions we’ve taken over the past four years, but there still are a lot of uncertainties,”  said Diane Scott, who is seeking a second four-year term representing District 1 on the school board.
