The new Navarre Beach Fishing Pier likely will be managed by old, familiar faces.
Six candidates made presentations to the Santa Rosa County Commission at a special meeting Monday in Milton. After asking some questions and receiving comments from residents, the commission narrowed the field to two groups with strong local connections: Dorothy Slye and Everett Ratliff Jr. and Navarre Beach Fishing Pier Inc., the principles of which are Pat Huggins of Navarre and Robert Macon of Gulf Breeze.
