A Milton man was listed in critical condition Monday after a Dodge pickup he was driving collided with another pickup, driven by Kenneth Dubreuil of Navarre.
Eddie Wilson, 60, was stopped in the eastbound lane on Hickory Hammock Road at State Road 87 around 4:17 p.m. Traveling in the opposite direction was Dubreuil, 54.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol press release, as Dubreuil neared the intersection, Wilson pulled across State Road 87 and into Dubreuil’s path.
The front of Dubreuil’s truck hit the left side of Wilson’s truck. The impact sent both vehicles into the northbound travel lanes where they came to a final rest.
Wilson was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center by Lifeguard EMS and Wilson’s passenger, Edward Lee Ray, 45, of Oneonta, Ala., was transported to Baptist Hospital.
Wilson’s third passenger, Wilbur Wilson Jr., 49, of Cleveland, Ala., reported minor injuries.
Dubreuil was not injured in the crash.
According to the release, the crash was alcohol-related and charges are pending a FHP investigation.
