When Navarre resident Kimberly Brooks went to the Tom Thumb on the corner of State Road 87 and Laredo Street in Navarre on Nov. 28, her only intention was to quench her thirst.
She ended up with more than she bargained for.
While on her way to spend a quiet evening with friends, Brooks bought a soft drink and - on a whim - purchased three lottery tickets.
Her total bill: Around $5.
Her change: $2.3 million.
