Hi Guys!
I have enjoyed reading your debate over the last few days. I think you have both made very valid points concerning illegal immigration. It is a very heated subject, to be sure. It is a very complex issue with many different perspectives. However, I sincerely believe that we are intelligent and advanced enough to work together to find a solution to this problem; one that is beneficial to all parties involved. In my opinion, I would like to say that the issue of immigration is not properly being dealt with by our current government. I think that this is intentional, as the North American Union is looming just over the horizon, and once this is implemented, immigration reform will in a sense, become null and void. Pointless, as we will lose our sovereignty. In addition, I would also say that I don’t think it is possible for us to remedy any of the problems that plague our nation, and our world, until we install a new government. We are intelligent and advanced enough to create a human society of world peace, where every living thing thrives, and where no one ever has to suffer. There is a very small minority who don’t want this to happen. They want power and control. They are overcome by their ego, or “the dark side of the force.” It is this small group of people that messes everything up,intentionally. Through their wallets, and their policies, they keep us in this miserable state of chaos and uncertainty, where we are easily manipulated. It is divide and conquer. It is the oldest trick in the book, and these men have been using it since the beginning of time, because it works. So while we succumb to the busy distraction of arguing over things like gay marriage, immigration, health care, pot legalization, abortion, the death of Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga, etc, etc... these men are busy intentionally wrecking our economy, to bring us to our knees. They have devolved us to feudal times, where we are forced to exchange military service in exchange for our lively hood; where men and women are unable to enjoy the fruits of their labor. We are serfs. Military jobs and government contractors now outnumber manufacturing jobs, including farming, in America. bobmccarty.com/2009/01/20/government-job...-to-add-600000-more/ This should alarm every American. But it doesn’t. In fact, I doubt most of my fellow citizens are even aware of this fact, because we are too busy arguing over all of these other things; not that they are not important; its just that if we are going to ever fix anything, we need to attack these problems at their source. And we can do this! I believe that we can fix everything! …And create a really wonderful world to pass on to our children. But there is only one way to accomplish this, and that is to stick together! Our greatest strength is strength in numbers! When we argue, we are divided. Do you remember “The Grapes of Wrath” and how the government manipulated the American farmer and brought him to his knees? This is the same thing going on now, on a much larger scale. We are coerced into arguing with each other, so that we may never turn our attention on the source of these problems. ...Where is Tom Joad when we really need him? Gumption, people! Thank you both for caring enough about this issue to openly discuss it. So few people in our community openly discuss these perplexing issues, that often I am left with the despairing impression that no one cares. So thank you both, for proving me wrong cheers!
