Regarding Letter to the Editor of 8-7-08:

First off there are a few things that really disgust me about W not the least of which is his ongoing attack on most of the Bill of Rights BUT "The Worst President In 100 Years"? Hmm how about Johnson and Vietnam? Nixon and (do I even have to say it)? or even Carter Economics?

I am not enough of a student of American Presidents to know for a fact but I'm thinking that if I can find two, not one but TWO, that were worse than W in my lifetime then there are assuredly one or two more in the 50 years prior to that.

My personal vote for worst that I know of has to go to Johnson. Sorry Matt, W has screwed up on many things but he still has a ways to go for the record. Of course he still has four and a half months so he may yet earn it...........
