The Pullum Family YMCA (formerly the Navarre YMCA) DOES accept cash, checks, VISA, MASTERCARD, and debit cards at the YMCA facility on Pawnee Drive. The YMCA, for business reasons, DOES NOT accept cash, debit, or credit cards at its two afterschool sites at Holley-Navarre Middle School and Woodlawn Beach Middle School.

Parents who usually pay in cash for childcare may make special arrangements with the YMCA to send a check in the mail or pay at the YMCA on Pawnee Drive. We would be glad to work with you or anyone on that end--like we did with a handful of parents last year at those schools last year--without a late fee penalty.

My husband and I went to the YMCA on Tuesday night to purchase two individual memberships, and we were told that unless we had a checking account which would allow the YMCA to automatically withdraw our monthly payments, that we would be unable to purchase a membership. I was happy when I saw your response, as I thought that there must have been some misunderstanding, but I just called the YMCA and they repeated what they told me a few days ago; that they do not accept cash. I appreciate your time in trying to clear up this misunderstanding. My husband and I would love to join the YMCA, but we do not allow automatic debits from our checking account

While the staff were technically correct in that Bank Draft or Full Pay Annual are the only way we accept membership purchases, Stacy and I will be glad to work with you on the issue. Thanks for your patience and understanding. We want to serve your family ($59/month would be the less expensive route--rather than two $39/month individual memberships).
