School Board opts out of raise

The Santa Rosa County School Board voted not to accept a state-appointed raise of nearly $2,000 Thursday, Sept. 8.

The board members would have been paid a salary of $34,248 effective immediately, but they unanimously voted to keep their pay at $32,450.
