COAST GUARD SEIZES OVER $214 MILLION IN COCAINE

The drugs were collected in the eastern Pacific Ocean off the coast of Central and South America over the last two months, according to the Coast Guard. The cocaine was brought Monday to the Coast Guard’s base on Miami Beach aboard the Cutter Bernard C. Webber.

AUTHORITIES IDENTIFY MAN SHOT, KILLED OUTSIDE VFW HALL

Fort Lauderdale police say in a statement that 44-year-old Gilbert Oosthuzian of Pembroke Pines died Friday. Police say Oosthuzian had just left the post when a suspect wearing a ski mask and a hoodie walked up to him and shot him. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
