Tiger Point residents seek Sacred Heart compromise

Tiger Point residents, frustrated by the lack of response from Sacred Heart Medical System to their objections about its construction plans for a new clinic, are suggesting a more community-friendly alternative.

“If they would move the entrance on Tiger Point Boulevard about 200 feet south, there would be less traffic congestion and it would be safer,” said Stan Shaw, president of the Oak Point Homeowners Association.

His group is banding together with nine other area homeowner groups that have been protesting the location of the only entrance and exit to Sacred Heart’s $6 million facility, now under construction.
