Navarre High School seniors, their families and mentors filed in Thursday, May 26, for the annual baccalaureate service at Community Life Center.
The service included prayers and appreciations from students as well as a short performance by the Navarre High School Concert Chorus.
Youth Pastor Clint Jernigan spoke to the graduates, emphasizing that they should not wait for the “perfect moment” to take a step forward.
“It’s all too common for us to think once I get done with college then I’ll do something, or then I’ll be able to make a difference once I do this one thing,” Jernigan said. “Or once I get this certification or after I understand this one thing… Then, then I’ll be ready to go and make a difference. You are ready. ”
Elizabeth Allegretto, mother of graduate Madison Allegretto, said she wanted her daughter to take this message to heart.
