Sunshine, blue skies and butterflies

The Panhandle Butterfly House opened for the season Saturday to a packed vivarium. The outdoor enclosure contains Great Southern Whites, Julia’s, Painted Ladies, Pipevine Swallowtails, Spicebush Swallowtails, Monarchs, Common Buckeyes and Zebra Longwings. The Butterfly House is open Thursday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., May through August. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
