REQUEST FOR BIDS

DUNE WALKOVER

Notice is hereby given that the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners is calling for and requesting bids from only properly licensed Contractors for the construction of a 360’ long 6’ wide Dune walkover at Navarre Beach.   

Preference will be given in the selection to a firm that possesses previous knowledge and experience with marine construction, pier, seawall, and dune walkover construction.

The Board of County Commissioners of Santa Rosa County, Florida will receive sealed bids from qualified licensed contractors only until 10:00 A.M.  April 19, 2016; at the Santa Rosa County Procurement Department, 6495 Caroline Street Suite J, Milton, Florida 32570.  Bids shall be sealed and clearly labeled “BID – Navarre Kayak Dune Walkover”.  Bids received after this time will be rejected and returned unopened to the bidder.  Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Bid documents, including drawings and specification relative thereto may be inspected at the Santa Rosa County Procurement Department, 6495 Caroline Street Suite J,  Milton, Florida, 32570. Plans and specifications may be secured from the Santa Rosa County Procurement office at a non-refundable cost of $25.00 per CD.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids with or without cause, and to award the bid that it determines to be in the best interest of Santa Rosa County.
