Easter egg hunts and festivities

Easter egg hunts and family friendly activities will be going on in Navarre and surrounding areas this weekend and next weekend. Listed below are some of the events taking place.

 

Mar. 19

YMCA Easter Egg Hunt

The Betty Pullum Family YMCA will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. The Easter Egg Hunt will be split into five age groups for children ages 0 to 10. There will also be a special-needs area and an adult only egg hunt after the children find their eggs. Bring your baskets. For more information, call 850-936-0049.

 Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Roger Scott Athletic Complex. The fun takes place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with free activities for children and egg hunts with over 20,000 candy and prize-filled eggs (divided amongst five egg hunts).
The egg hunt times are as follows:
10:30 a.m.       Stroller – 2 year olds
11:00 a.m.       3 – 4 year olds
11:30 a.m.       5 – 6 year olds
12:00 p.m.       7 – 9 year olds
12:20 p.m.       10 – 12 year olds
Throughout the day kids can play carnival games, bounce on inflatables, enjoy arts and crafts, and play at the bubble station. Parents be sure and bring your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny as well. Admission to the event is free with a donation of a non-perishable food item for Manna Food Pantries. Easter Extravanazoo

Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge is hosting an Easter Extravaganzoo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Park admission includes free activities such as Create a Craft, Plant a Flower and Decorate an Egg for a Zoo Animal while supplies last. City of FWB Easter Egg Hunt Postponed

 

Fort Walton Beach— Due to severe weather forecasts for March 24th, the City of Fort Walton Beach is postponing its Easter Egg Hunt until Friday, March 25th, 2016 at the Fort Walton Landing on Brooks Street. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 5:00 p.m., with games, activities, and a visit from the Easter Bunny to follow. The Quiet Hunt for children with special needs will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the Fort Walton Landing. Easter Egg Hunt

The Ebonwood Homeowners Association will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on at The Ebonwood Community Center, 3511 West Scott St., in Pensacola.  The Easter Egg Hunt will Start at noon and end at 3 p.m.  There will be Free Food, Games, Entertainment, prizes and lot of Fun.   For more information, please contact Joe 850-207-4494 or Leroy at 850-426-1156.

Eggstravaganza

The Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, Soundside Campus, will host an Easter Egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun filled, family event will include an egg hunt with over 5,000 eggs, crafts, bouncy’s, games, food and more at the Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze. Egga-Wahooza

Egga-Wahooza is a free Easter Egg hunt with 50,000 eggs. Children will be divided into age groups up to 5th grade and sent out at 2 p.m. Registration opens at 1 p.m. Event will be held at the Community Maritime Park in Pensacola. For more information, visit www.bluewahoos.com.

Easter Egg Hunt at Hurlburt Field

Hurlburt Field Community Park is hosting a free Easter egg. Egg hunt will be divided into age groups.

9 a.m. 0-2 year olds

9:40 a.m. 3-5 year olds

10 a.m. 6+ year olds

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for middle school and younger youth at 10 a.m. Youth interested in joining in this celebration should meet in the Upper Building Youth/Quad Room (with the piano) and youth should bring a basket or other container to put their eggs in.
