Bagdad volunteers and bed taxes bring projects to fruition

Doug Lasater, president of the Bagdad Waterfront Partnership made a presentation to Santa Rosa County Commissioners at their May 5 meeting. He spoke about a maritime heritage trail the group hopes to develop between Bagdad and Milton.
Funding from bed tax collections in the north end of Santa Rosa County were used to build sidewalks and make improvements to the train crossing adjacent to the historic depot in downtown Milton
