Sheriff’s Office looking for Tom Thumb robber

Just after midnight on Jan. 21 Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call regarding a robbery that occurred at Tom Thumb located on the corner of State Road 87 and East Bay Boulevard.

When deputies arrived the clerk described the robber as a tall male approximately 6’3” with brown eyes and a dark tan.  He was wearing all black with a bandana covering his face.  He entered the store with a weapon, stole merchandise and demanded money.  The clerk did not know which direction the suspect fled.

The Major Crimes Unit of SRSO was dispatched to the store and they took over the investigation.  The case remains active.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers Program at 437-STOP (7867).  Your tip is given anonymously and you could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
