COAST GUARD RECOVERS BODY OF MISSING PADDLE BOARDER

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office says 59-year-old Kenton Miller’s pickup was found at a St. Augustine Beach boat ramp after his wife reported him missing Sunday night. The sheriff’s office says Miller’s body and paddle board were located about seven miles south of the boat ramp.

3 CHARGED WITH COLLECTING RENT ON 80 HOMES THEY DIDN’T OWN

The U.S. Attorney’s Office reported Monday that 46-year-old Kesner Joaseus, 36-year-old Wadno Dorneau and 54-year-old Miguel Tilus have been charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud. They each face up to 20 years in prison, $250,000 in fines and mandatory restitution on each charge.

SARASOTA COUPLE ACCUSED OF CHILD ABUSE, NEGLECT

Authorities say the Department of Children and Families contacted police about a child abuse case they were investigating Thursday. Police say they found that a 6-year-old boy and 4-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, were all extremely malnourished and dehydrated.
