County owns 1,400-plus acres near future 87 connector
After sustained public criticism over plans to spend millions on land for a proposed new county courthouse, Santa Rosa commissioners decided March 13 to also include an option on the ballot for using county-owned or donated land in East Milton.
Santa Rosa County owns six large parcels of land near the intersection of Hwy. 87 S and US 90, where an existing traffic signal is already in place about 1 mile north of Interstate 10.
