Gov. Scott orders flags lowered to half-staff

In a statement released by the Governor Rick Scott’s office, the flags of the United States of America and the State of Florida are ordered to be flown at half-staff. The governor said, “Florida joins all Americans in mourning the more than 120 innocent people who lost their lives and the more than 350 people who were wounded in the terrorist attacks in and around Paris, France on November 13, 2015. In honor of all those affected by this massacre, I hereby direct the flags of the United States of America and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at all local and State buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the State of Florida beginning immediately until sunset on Sunday, November 22, 2015.”
