Navarre men arrested in car burglary, trespassing investigation

Marvin Eugene Darby Jr., 20, of Andorra Street in Navarre was arrested Oct. 15 for alleged obstruction of justice in connection with an upcoming burglary trial involving himself and Devin Michael Colonel, 21, of Parkridge Drive in Navarre.

According to police reports, Darby tried to fight Colonel on Sept. 28. He called him a snitch, rat and spat at Colonel. Darby told Colonel he would murder him and kill his little sister. Darby grabbed a glass pipe and threw it at Colonel and told him he was going to (redacted) his little sister and make her boyfriend watch and shoot up Colonel’s house. Darby warned Colonel not to divulge anything to law enforcement authorities regarding the burglary and trespassing case involving the car break-ins. These break-ins occurred on Baylen Court off of East Bay Boulevard during the evening on or about Aug. 23, 2015.
