The Holley Navarre Fire District will vote at their September 28 board meeting whether or not to approve a three-phase proposal from Florida-based Government Services Group, Inc.
The first phase of the proposal as outlined will be demographic studies to inform the fire district how adequately they are able to meet the needs of the service area with its current personnel, equipment and number of stations in inventory. It will then advise the district what those numbers should look like for the current population base.
“Basically, this proposal would tell us where we are now and where we need to be,” Holley Navarre Fire District Chief Norton said.
