Flag Day 5K gives back

More than 250 participated in the St. Sylvester Flag Day 5K this morning making it the largest participation in it’s five year history. Proceeds from this even will benefit the Special Operator Warrior Foundation in honor of the Blackhawk 11 and Heroes on the Water. The race course went through the neighborhood of Holley by the Sea. The first runner across the finish line was Bob Walker, 44, of Baker FL with a time of 19:36. The first female runner to cross the finish line was Andrea Moore, 50, of Navarre with a time of 26:09.
