SECOND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Santa Rosa County is applying to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) for a FFY 2014 Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Neighborhood Revitalization Grant in the amount of $750,000.00. The activities, dollar amounts and estimated percentage benefit to low-and-moderate income persons are as follows:

The proposed project will include the replacement of 10,300 linear feet of water lines and the addition of 12 fire hydrants in a neighborhood bounded on the west by Anderson Avenue, on the east by Hondo Trail, on the north by Maverick Lane and on the south by Pecos Pass. The project also includes the replacement of 7,950 linear feet of water lines and the addition of 10 fire hydrants in a neighborhood bounded on the north by Gulf Breeze Parkway, on the east by New Hope Road, on the south by Martina Way and on the west by Red Sage Road.
Santa Rosa County does not expect that anyone will be displaced as a result of CDBG funded activities. If any persons are displaced as a result of the planned activities, the County will assist them as described in the County’s anti-displacement and relocation policy, which is available for review in the County’s grants office located at 6495 Caroline Street, Suite H in Milton, FL.
The public hearing to provide citizens an opportunity to comment on the application will be held in the Board Room at the Midway Water System, 4971 Gulf Breeze Parkway, in Gulf Breeze on Wednesday, June 3 at 5:30 p.m. A draft copy of the application will be available for review at the County’s grants office, 6495 Caroline Street, Suite H in Milton, FL no later than 12:00 pm on June 3. Persons wanting to submit written comments on the application should send them to Sheila Fitzgerald, Special Projects/Grants Director, by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to 6495 Caroline Street, Suite H, Milton, FL 32570. A final copy of the application will be made available for review during normal business hours in the Grants Director’s office at the Santa Rosa County Administration Building no later than June 22, 2015. The application will be submitted to DEO on or before June 22, 2015.
