Navarre’s football team will play three of its first five games away from home in 2015, including the season opener on Aug. 21 when the Raiders travel to Alabama to take on Dothan.
The Raiders, coming off a 9-3 campaign, play their home opener a week later in a game against Pensacola Catholic at Bennett C. Russell Stadium before traveling to Pensacola Sept. 4 for a showdown against Washington.
Navarre hosts Choctaw Sept. 18 in a rematch of last year’s second-round playoff game. The Raiders lost 35-14 as their 9-3 season came to a close. They also lost to Choctaw in the regular season, falling 25-15. Navarre plays at Fort Walton Beach to close out the month of September.
October begins with back-to-back home games against Pace and Escambia. The game against Escambia on Oct. 9 is Homecoming night for the Raiders. It’s also a rematch of last year’s opening-round playoff matchup in which Navarre rallied for a 44-30 victory over the Gators.
The Raiders play at Milton Oct. 23 and close out the month with a road battle against rival Gulf Breeze. The regular season ends Nov. 6 with a senior night showdown against Niceville.
