Cameron Mayweather has always been an athlete at Navarre High School, playing football and basketball for the Raiders. Until this year, however, he never competed in track.

Mayweather has performed at a high level despite the fact that this is his first season. He was at his best Thursday at the Andrews Invitational in Gulf Breeze, taking third in the long jump with a jump of 19 feet, 8-3/4 inches to help propel the Raiders finish fifth overall at the meet.
